Attention focuses on: Improvisation, acting styles and techniques, vocal training, stage movement, dance and singing, visual arts.
Students will develop invaluable life skills such as: Working in a group, self-reflection, critical thinking, creativity, confidence, self-expression, presentation and communication.
July 17-21 students will form the ensemble for our production of “Alice in Wonderland”.
MUSICAL THEATRE INTENSIVE
July 15-26, Monday to Friday, 9:00-3:30
Ages 7-14
$550 incl HST
We will begin the programme with classes in various styles of dance, vocal training and technique, acting styles and improv and then transition to beginning work on our production of Disney’s “Alice In Wonderland” JR!
Students will have the opportunity to engage in the rehearsal and production of a short musical and perform for family and friends at the end of the two week programme.
Students will develop invaluable life skills such as: Working in a group, self-reflection, critical thinking, creativity, confidence, self-expression, presentation and communication.
We will explore: Dance styles, Singing and voice, improvisation, visual arts scenery and props creation, script reading and writing, collective creation.
